Conceived to give a kick to the January blues as well as raising awareness of the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust and the brilliant work they do, the event involved ninety 20-somethings, took nine months to put together and saw clothes from Lulu Guinness, MiH Jeans, Mary Mary, Tephi and Matthew Williamson modeled by (very gorgeous) friends and family of the organisers – every one of them generating a roar of support from around the raised runway.
Choreographer K.Knight, known for his work with Kylie and Girls Aloud, directed some acrobatic dance routines between shows to make this much more than just a fashion show – while dramatic, multicoloured make-up by Isabelle Coaten and hair/nails by Maximiliano Centini respectively gave it a Dior-esque professionalism. An impressive effort: a fabulous show for a very worthy cause
